Although I live in Kilkenny in Ireland I also spend a lot of time in West Cork and Wicklow, thus these are the main areas reflected in my photography.
I have been taking photographs since the early 1980's but lapsed for many years. The advent of digital photography rekindled my interest around the year 2000 and the work you see here all comes from that period.
Most of my inspiration is drawn from the landscape and events I see around me, I seldom go out walking without a camera in hand and most of my photographs are unplanned.
